About
I am an American photographer and award winning writer providing photographic services in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts.
I started my career as an editor, writer and photographer working for weekly and daily newspapers in New York State and western Massachusetts. Early in my career, I won first place in the NY Press Association Better Newspaper Contest in the Feature Column category.
In recent years I honed my documentary photography skills working at small Berkshire County non-profit organizations. I used photography to tell the stories of these organizations and endeavored to capture images that would illustrate each organization’s mission for years to come.
I currently serve on the board of directors at the Hilltown Community Development Corporation in Chesterfield, MA, because I care about economic opportunities and housing in, as well as maintaining the rural character of, western MA.
